This is a 'hands on', commission-eligible position.
Job Responsibilities Review and approval of collection files placed with the Firm Representation of clients in civil debt collection matters within the state.
Approval and execution of pleadings for timely and consistent case progression Regular contact with courts, opposing counsel, and consumers to manage and resolve cases Docket management including trial preparation, claim prove-up, and post-judgment enforcement Appear at hearings and trials throughout the state Aide in the management and supervision of cases including exception and queue oversight Required skills and
Experience:
Currently licensed and in good standing with the CA State Bar Thorough understanding of California Civil Practice law Strong communication and organizational skills Disciplined work ethic Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word and Excel 1-3 years' experience in high-volume civil litigation practice preferred Attorney Benefits Eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as company-paid life and disability on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
